Fashion and architecture, two Italian excellences, meet in a seven-day course based in Milan, the most international city in Italy at this time. Architecture meets Fashion is the title of the intensive study week, held from 24 to 30 June 2018, organized by Accademia ED in collaboration with Order of Architects PPC of the province of Milan. The course – that recognizes 20 CFP credits – aims to share with the participants, 25 at most between architects and designers, the experience of designers working with the most famous fashion houses. ‘Visual and retail’, ‘From fashion to factories and craftsmanship’, ‘Headquarter’, ‘From fashion to cultural projects’, are the five modules of the training course on design, completed by a final project.
All this will take place through lectures, special lessons, the analysis of case histories, visits to fashion partners (including Gucci). The participants will focus on a final project that concerns the retail of fashion, the headquarters and the factories of one of the partner fashion houses. The projects are subjected to evaluation by Domus, professionals and fashion insiders. Winners of the program will be published on Domus’s networks and will exhibit at the Milan-Milan Furniture Fair in November 2018.
