Sono stati annunciati gli oltre 150 vincitori degli International Architecture Awards dal Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design e dall’European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. I premi, a cadenza annuale e fondati nel 2005, ambiscono a selezionare gli edifici e i progetti di pianificazione urbana più interessanti e significativi del mondo, stabilendo uno standard globale. I progetti vincitori di quest’anno fanno particolare attenzione su progettazione inclusiva, soluzioni sostenibili e risposte sensibili alle esigenze delle culture locali, nonché a restaurazione, ristrutturazione e riutilizzo adattivo.
