Cabane de Zucca

The new Cabane de Zucca shop in Daikanyama, Tokyo, assigned to Schemata Architects, is a clean space punctuated by a grid of chromate treated steel frames.

Chromate treated steel frames are the main design feature in Cabane de Zucca new shop in Daikanyama, designed by Schemata Architects.

There were some obstacles in front of the entrance, including a level difference and a setback, and there is only one entrance open to the street. In order to create a more welcoming entrance area, Schemata revised the program and made a gallery space that can be used in collaboration with other brands. Here they introduced a new design element, which is a display furniture made of concrete and formwork panels utilizing male/female connection.
