A restaurant in Sardinia is inspired by its natural context

Studio Wok's new project for an avant-garde pizzeria in Porto Cervo aims at recreating the environmental features of this corner of Sardinia. Inspired by the colors of the wild bush and recreating the effect of a profile carved by the action of the wind.

Rare and intimate, the renovation project curated by Studio Wok for a restaurant located on the Promenade du Port in Porto Cervo, on the northeastern coast of Sardinia, looks to the colors and morphology of the island to recreate its traits in a built space.

Characterized by a strong organicist touch, the rooms accentuate their sense of welcome through their rounded outlines. Designed as continuous surfaces, the eggshell-colored floor and walls are enlivened by the insertion of a tiled counter that evokes with its bright green the shades of local vegetation. Original, then, is the intervention conceived above the tables of the outdoor space, which succeeds in mimicking the conformation of the granite rock carved by the wind through a succession of whitish layers with an irregular profile.
