Brazilian architect Flavio Castro renovated an apartment in São Paulo, Brazil, transforming a compartmentalized floor plan into an integrated space. The clients – two young brothers – wanted a space that could be easily adapted to different possible scenarios where work, eating, cooking and laundry could happen in a smooth way.

Custom made furniture was the focal point of the design. All functions, including the cooktop and pantry, have been camouflaged through pivoting doors, sliding doors and drawers. The overall colour scheme is determined by one bright aquamarine equipped wall. Privacy is guaranteed by two private bedrooms, while hybrid and mobile furniture keep the space flexible.
