20 years of Transart, festival of contemporary culture in South Tyrol

The annual event, which celebrates its 20th edition, will host until September 26 a calendar of performances, concerts and installations.  

This year Transart, the festival dedicated to contemporary culture, celebrates with a special edition its twentieth anniversary. From the 10 to 26 September 2020 it will bring performances, concerts, installations and exhibitions to South Tyrol, Italy. There will be the performance-concert by the composer Georg Friedrich Haas and his muse, Mollena Williams-Haas, the re-reading of Boccaccio’s Decameron by eight writers in the courtyards of some private houses in Bolzano, the return of the artist Roman Signer and his site-specific projects, a walk through the blue sky, clouds and breeze with the artist Alex Cecchetti and other artists engaged in research in innovation, music and digital art from Oslo, Moscow, Montreal and Berlin who will inhabit the wandering stage of the festival for almost a month.

On September 25 and 26, moreover, at the NOI Techpark in Bolzano and live streaming on the web, it will be the turn of the first Futurological Congress in Italy, an interdisciplinary infotainment festival that questions the future of humanity in the age of artificial intelligence through two days of high-level speakers, artistic performances and discussions, installations and exhibitions.
