Conceived of by the SANAA studio for the Basilica Palladiana fair, the layout of the exhibition organized by Abacoarchitettura recreates the spatial volumes which are the basis of the architecture by Japan’s Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa. Under bright white light, in an almost surreal atmosphere, we find sketches, photos, projections and large scale models of their most recent works: from the 21st Century Museum in Kanazawa (which was awarded the coveted Leone d’oro as the best architecture in the last edition of the Venice Biennial) to the headquarters of the pharmaceutical company, Novartis, in Basel.
