The third edition of the annual contemporary art exhibition in the Egyptian desert, founded by Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Forever is Now III, will be open for visitors in Giza until November 18th, with the Pyramids of the famous UNESCO site serving as a majestic backdrop.

Fourteen artists of various nationalities, including JR, Sabine Marcelis, Sam Shendi, and Costas Varotsos, have explored themes through their sculptures that stretch from the past into the future, traversing the present and informing human civilization. Sun, energy, water, architecture, territory, geography, deities, geometry, symbols, celestial vault, horizon, and social justice are just a few of the inspirations that led to the development of diverse artworks. Certainly, the dialogue with the location, the landscape, and the architecture it hosts represents one of the focal points of the exhibition.

“For me, the horizon has always been a prediction of the future, towards something coming, defining the concept of the horizon in space, but at the same time determining the position toward life”, declared the Greek artist Costas Varotsos.

French street artist JR has developed a global platform to empower various communities to defend their values, leading to both local and global change. His installation, “From the Inside Out” aims to prompt visitors to reflect on the power of art in amplifying diverse voices and promoting social justice.
