After the installation Campo Libero (2021), the performance Tornare alle cose (2021), and the installation-performance Campo Terra (2022), Saturday, July 15 the artist Alberonero will present at the art park Arte Sella - The Contemporary Mountain, in Trentino (Italy), the editorial project Caro Campo. Diario di lavoro (Dear Field. Workbook).
At Arte Sella the story of the poplar grove that became a work of art
The editorial project returns the memory of the experience made by Italian artist Alberonero between 2019 and 2021 when he came into symbiosis with a field of poplars in central Italy.

The publication – produced by STUDIO STUDIO STUDIO, published by Viaindustriae publishing, and realized thanks to the support of the Italian Council – was born from the wider Campo project, an experience lived by Alberonero between 2019 and 2021 on the banks of the Secchia River in Campogalliano, in the province of Modena (Italy), during which the artist lived in daily symbiosis with a field of two hundred and ninety poplars until their cut, to return the biography through twenty temporary works, then abandoned to the spontaneous transformation of the place.
With Caro Campo. Diario di lavoro, Alberonero through a slow work of self-reporting leaves a trace of the memory of that circumscribed space, recording its changes. The workbook – which evokes the portable proportions of the “field notebooks” – combines Alberonero’s writing and the documentation of his occupation of the plantation, returning the biography of a field of poplars destined to be cut down.
