At Fuksas’ Nuvola in Rome, a music festival with Apparat, Bicep, L’Impératrice and more

For its 14th edition, Spring Attitude will transform the architecture of EUR into a sonic stage, with a line-up of emerging Italian artists and internationally renowned names.

Spring Attitude, a long-standing reference point in Italy for contemporary music, returns to Rome on September 12 and 13 with its 14th edition, which this time will be hosted inside La Nuvola dell'EUR, the work of Massimiliano Fuksas that as an architectural landmark of the Capital will become an unprecedented stage for live performances and DJ sets by both emerging and international artists.

The programming will unfold through the entire width of the Cloud, with the Ploom Stage inside and a large dancefloor suspended on the outdoor terrace for the SA/Block Party, which will bring the festival into the urban fabric.

The Spring will kick off on Friday 12, balancing debuts and returns: from the atmospheres of Coca Puma and Post Nebbia to the new project Golden Years, and on to the live sets of Giorgio Poi and La Rappresentante di Lista. Two highlights mark the evening before closing with DJ Gigola: the long-awaited return of Apparat, ten years after his last appearance, and the only Italian date of Bicep’s new audiovisual show CHROMA. On the terrace, the Block Party will host DE:MA, Lorenzo BITW, Portamento, Strada, and Velia, as well as the Safffo collective with MANTIS, plus live sets by Arssalendo, Emma, Fenoaltea, and a closing DJ set by Turbolenta.

Saturday will instead follow on a more experimental line of sound, between psychedelic suggestions and electronic trajectories. Starting with research Bouganville and Faccianuvola will move on to the live performance of Altın Gün, along with La Niña, Marco Castello and L'Impératrice. On the other hand, in the outdoor dimension of the SA/Block Party curated with the Mania group will feature Alessandro Addi, Andrea Saba, Francesco Maria, Jaden Thompson and, to top it off, Dj Tennis.

The closing, on Sunday, September 14, will shifts the center of gravity for the Spring Attitude Closing Party at The Hoxton Rome with a daytime event with free admission, which extends the festival beyond the suspended spaces of the Cloud thus confirming the festival's vocation for experimentation not only on the musical level, but also on the spatial one.
