Front: Plane Lamp for Zero

Transparency and sharpness characterise the Plane lamps, both in their pendant and floor versions. They have a simple construction of thin metal wires in a structural grid crowned by a flat light source. 

Turned off, the light source is completely transparent, when illuminated it spreads a pleasant light half-up, half-down. The result gives even illumination, excellent for most environments. Front say: “We were inspired by the light source material, it is completely transparent and works as a lens to spread the light. We wanted to let the technology be the a strong feature of the design so we created a simple grid to hold the light plane in place.”
