Technological marble

Marmo tecnologico

The Clique brand was created when designers Claudio Larcher and Filippo Protasoni – along with T&D Robotics which supplies robots for art projects and replacement restoration – decided to bring the two distant worlds of traditional materials/Italian craftsmanship and electrical/electronic devices together.

The second collection presented in via Ventura focuses on a single material – Carrara marble (from MGI – Marmi e Graniti d’Italia Sicilmarmi) – small objects and attention to the single detail. Aided by cutting-edge robotic technology (from T&D Robotics), the designers managed to overcome the production limitations of marble and generate a collection that might even be mass produced. All the designs have a technological heart (from LED lighting to WiFi and Bluetooth speakers).
