#29 The young Milan-based Stefano Belingardi comes to SaloneSatellite with three chairs and a small table that play with sharp edges and broken lines. #salone2015

Stefano Belingardi comes to SaloneSatellite with three projects: Analysis’ ideation starts from the study of the typical psychoanalysis chaise longue.

The sitting element, a soft and curvy shape made of dark leather, is in stark contrast with the sharp edges and the broken lines of the iron supporting frame. These two opposing elements composing Analysis are kept together by three invisible hinges.

Kulla is born from the wish of creating a wave with a three-dimensional connotation in every angling and ripple. The minimum thickness and the wide surface are obtained thanks to carbon fibers. Kulla reverses the classical idea of armchair by eliminating the lower support and directly placing itself on the ground, hold by an imperceptible metallic pivot that confers the necessary stability and allows 360° rotation.

The concept of the stool Karta is based on the composition of a triangular pattern. Once the solid components are set up they define a steady and sharp geometry. The set of triangles, marked by deeply cut corners and broken lines, accentuates the structural thickness, the crisp shape, with its sharp and clean edges. The wooden base is made of recycled plywood and it will have different types of finishing, including a bare wood effect.

Domus Domino is inspired by the structural system of Maison Domino by Le Corbusier. It is conceived as a scaled-down building and it is designed to be a flexible element. The dynamism of the plans is interrupted by vertical guidelines. The contrast between static structure and sliding surfaces, gives flexibility in the movement of the object and variability in the overlapping of the staggered platforms.
