In the German town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, just a few kilometres from Stuttgart, Studio Alexander Fehre has designed a flexible and evolving workspace, characterised by a great variety of colours and materials and the presence of different places for meeting, dialogue and relaxation.
The main element of the project is the central "road", which distributes the different areas, featuring curves, detours and stopping points. In addition to the 200 workstations, the German architects' project presents a range of semi-private and private rooms for meetings, mobile furniture, an open conference space and a café, the very heart of the office.
