Within the massive urban regeneration project of the former Scalo Farini area, the interior of an abandoned railway depot is (temporarily) given new life thanks to Claudio Larcher's design for a restaurant that pays homage to the spirit of the place and conviviality. Casa Giardino welcomes visitors as an unexpected oasis of peace along a busy road: a large dehors façade leads into a warm and inviting interior, where the rough character of the industrial building, preserved in the exposed brickwork and wooden finishes, is softened by the internal garden dotted with rich Mediterranean vegetation and by the essential but cozy furnishings.
