Munio Weinraub and Amos Gitai are the stars of an exhibition at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich (from 6 November to 8 February, 2009). A comparison of their work produces an intense look at the themes that have characterised the Palestinian and Israeli territories (homeland, exile, frontiers) for the last 60 years. What also emerges, however, is a creative dialogue between two generations, that of the Zionist settlement and that of successive reflection on the complexity of the problems in the Middle East.
