Adobe is adding a new app to the Creative Cloud: it’s called Fresco and it’s a digital support for artists and illustrators that synthesizes brush strokes and painting techniques with the highest level of fidelity ever seen on a consumer-oriented tablet.  The app is available on the iPad and takes advantage of the Apple Pencil high sensitivity to create digital paintings that look like they’ve been painted with oil paint on canvas or watercolors on paper. The first results Adobe showcased on its website are indeed impressive and show the versatility of the Fresco app in reproducing a number of real-life complex painting techniques.  In addition to the brushes coming with the app, Fresco lets you use brushes created with the Photoshop brushes engine and infinitely scalable vector brushes. Fresco can be downloaded for free from the App Store, but some of the more advanced settings are available only customer who subscribe the 9,99€/month plan, which comes with 6-months for free if you subscribe before December 31st 2019. Creative Cloud user won’t have to pay any additional fee and will be able to access all the available features of Fresco right away.
