Xiaomi unveiled the new 15T and 15T Pro in Munich, the latest evolution of its flagship series. The most striking innovation is the Offline Communication feature, which allows users to make calls and send voice messages between two devices up to 1.9 km apart (1.3 km for the base model), even without cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
The new Xiaomi 15T Series communicates even without a network connection
The Chinese brand updates the T series, once again with a Leica-developed camera system, now enhanced with a new telephoto lens. And a new line of Mijia home appliances also arrives in Europe.

On the photography side, both models are equipped with a Leica-developed system: three cameras with Summilux lenses, the main one at 50 MP and – in the case of the 15T Pro – a 5x telephoto reaching the equivalent of a 230 mm focal length. The new Light Fusion 900 sensor improves dynamic range and tonal rendering. The Leica signature is evident: images show a distinct balance of color, contrast, and exposure, closer to “finished” photographs than to raw material meant for Instagram filters.
It’s the same recognizable imprint that has accompanied the German company’s collaborations with Chinese tech brands, from the first notable experiments with Huawei to the ongoing partnership with Xiaomi, and more recently in the Ace Pro 2 by Insta360 with Tilta kit (link to the article): wherever Leica steps in, it shows. Early tests also revealed a slight lag between pressing the shutter and capture, noticeable only with close attention.
The two phones run on new MediaTek processors (Dimensity 9400+ for the Pro, 8400-Ultra for the 15T), paired with 5500 mAh batteries and fast charging up to 90W. The 6.83-inch AMOLED displays reach a brightness of 3200 nits, with refresh rates up to 144 Hz on the Pro. Both models are IP68 certified and use Gorilla Glass 7i.
Xiaomi opts for a sober design, in black, gray and gold (Mocha Gold for the Pro, Rose Gold for the 15T). A surprising choice considering that this year Apple pushed a bright orange iPhone Pro with a prominent camera module, while a Chinese brand like Xiaomi goes for a more discreet, balanced, and arguably European elegance. Adding to this is the Gold Collection, further expanding the premium color options.
The 15T Pro starts at €799.99, while the 15T is available at a similar price depending on memory and bundle options. Both will be sold on Mi.com, Amazon, and through major retailers.
Xiaomi also introduced the new Redmi Pad 2 Pro series, with a 12.1-inch 2.5K display and up to 120Hz refresh rate, designed for everyday entertainment and also available in Matte Glass and 5G versions. At launch, the company also unveiled the new Xiaomi Watch S4, Buds 6 Pro, and a range of Mijia-branded smart home devices, marking the brand’s debut in the European market: the Mijia Cross Door 502L refrigerator, the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 9kg, and the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro EcoSeries.
