Built in 1958, Loring House is a pristine example of the International Style of the great Austrian architect Richard Neutra. Originally designed for the dancer and choreographer Eugene Loring, the estate is now owned by Cassandra Grey, founder of Violet Grey and widow of Brad Grey – the movie producer who ran for twelve years Paramount Pictures.

The house features a narrow floor plan rectangular shaped and retractable glass-walls, in the facade thin columns are visible and a broad roof overhang. The small compound also includes a guesthouse by Steven Ehrlich, with greenhouse-style windows brighten the double-height space. The garden hosts tropical plants, a patio and a swimming pool, while at the edge of the property a wide lawn takes in views of the city below.
