Loop is a new concept of city bike built to be light, resistant, yet easy to disassemble. Designed by Paris-based industrial designer Gaëtan Franq, the bike doesn't have a traditional frame and is instead built around a central bar with an asymmetrically placed loop.
The vertical saddle tube, which snaps in place into the Loop's hole, is the additional structural element. It's made with reinforced aluminium, like all the other components of the bike, and it hides a secret compartment where riders can store a bottle of water or wine (it's a French design, after all) and keep them cool.
Wilwood radial brakes are another high-end touch to the Loop's sleek design. They contribute to the bike's premium feel while adding a solid safety advantage for urban bikers. Like all other components, the brakes can be easily disassembled for better transportation or to store the bike away during the winter months. Finally, the Loop's handlebar includes a small screen with a digital tachometer, temperature and weather upgrades and Bluetooth connectivity to the rider's smartphone.
