The exposition is divided into three design approaches, each in its own nave of the formerly industrial building nicknamed “the Cathedral”. One group of designers is featured for having privileged typological innovation, the recasting of traditional forms and the reinvention of objects by surpassing their acquired images. Another group concentrated their ideas and actions on experimentation with construction, taking an insightful approach to materials and different ways to use them and their related technological aspects. A third group of designers focused on form-related innovation, a search for sculptural or decorative aspects.
