Alternative cutlery

After four years of experimentation on design for food and culinary rituals, Amsterdam based platform Steinbeisser presents its whole collection of cutlery and tableware.

Driven by a search for new ways to enjoy food, the pieces by Steinbeisser don’t follow the normal rules of usability. Instead, they challenge to reconsider preconceptions about the relationship between tableware and the user. They can be appreciated for their thought-provoking function but also for their shapes.

The cutlery and tableware created by more then 35 international artists in four years of “Experimental Gastronomy”, a concept created by Jouw Wijnsma and Martin Kullik, is now available through the Steinbeisser’s online shop Jouw.
