Design and ceramics renew a shopping center

FMG Fabbrica Marmi and architect Paolo Gianfrancesco, of THG Arkitektar Studio, have designed the restyling of the third floor of Reykjavik's largest shopping center. Ceramic, the central element of the project, covers floors, walls and furniture with versatile solutions and distinctive character.

Designed by A/R Studio for Mingardo, Elementa is a collection of brass table/kitchen accessories, composed by a paper roll holder, a fruit holder, and a trivet.

Generated by the use of discs and cylinders they remind of industrial gearwheels and connote the table with a new, essential and clean look. The mix of a precious material and fine details with a very essential graphic look creates something unusual.
