Every city needs a Heart

“Every city needs a HEART-board pyramid” was a participatory spring happening planned by Noa Haim/ Collective Paper Aesthetics for Haifa City Museum.

For one day participants were invited to construct a cardboard pyramid and swing from the individual play towards the creation of a public playground.

The activity was taking place during the Jewish holiday ‘Passover’. Passover is celebrated as a commemoration of the Jewish people liberation over 3,300 years ago by God from slavery in ancient Egypt that was ruled by the Pharaohs. According to the Jewish believe the pyramids were built during their slavery period in Egypt yet there is no evidence connecting nowadays between the slave activities to the pyramids.
