MARS is a depot in the inner courtyard of an apartment building not far from the bustling Via Padova.

This is the location chosen by Joe Velluto for a “light” intervention that drew on Alessandro Mendini as its Maestro and Beppe Finessi, and consists in an automatic dispenser that churns out brilliant ideas in the form of incandescent light bulbs for just €5.

“Give me a bright idea, blessed lamp!”
