Blackbody a OLED / 53

The Franco-Italian company comes to the Milan Triennale with an installation by Thierry Gaugain, a neutral frame that lets the large OLED light sculptures do the talking.

The newest idea in the Milan presentation is Aldo Cibic’s Lucky Eye, a round wall-mirror framed by a radial pattern of OLED panels emitting tenuous light. Inspired by the mirrors of fortune-tellers, developed from crystal balls, that bring their owners luck, Cibic and Corà have designed a magical luminous object.

Completing the display are two projects by Frenchman Thierry Gaugain: the familiar Peau d’Ane light sculpture, an original version of the I.Rain shower of light, and Bellmondo, a small rechargeable, wireless lamp for indoors or outdoors that can house one or more OLED modules.
