Sara Rottjers is one of the directors of Tanzania Maasai Women Art Limited. She is Maasai and comes from the area near Arusha. At the age of 16 she was forbidden to continue her secondary education. Her family had chosen an older man as her future husband. She escaped to Arusha were she fought hard to make enough income to support herself in the city
