The careful documentation of the changing landscape of Emilia has been the mission of Linea di Confine for fifteen years. After having brought together the legacy of leading figures already present in the area, such as Luigi Ghirri, Guido Guidi and Olivo Barbieri, the association dedicated to photography invited a number of internationally renown photographers to Italy, including Lewis Baltz, Stephen Shore, John Davies and Michael Schmidt. Their images today form a unique collection to which the Fotomuseum has dedicated an exhibition, curated by the director Urs Stahel. E.S.
