The Bunker House by Abez studio in Spain

Occupying a lot in the middle of the urban center of Los Montesinos, the project is articulated starting with the challenge of keeping the space facing the street private, enclosing it like a "bunker" but without sacrificing natural and direct light. Fundamental, therefore, is the presence of a patio and a circular skylight that give light to the living area of the house. The large circular opening, placed in the center of the house, pierces the roof letting the light in zenithally and amplifying the ethereal and minimal white that pervades the whole house. In the path that branches out from the entrance into the three bedrooms, white then undergoes precise contaminations, in the colored wall coverings of two bathrooms, one blue and one red, and in the sporadic presence of some marble and limestone elements, which emerged during the construction site and were left exposed as a trace of the building process.
