Shy facade in Buenos Aires to sell falafel

With a neutral grid, architects Juan Campanini and Josefina Sposito elementarily design the front of a small delicatessen.

No signs, no bright colours or attractive elements: the Falafel Booth designed by Argentinean architects Juan Camparini and Josefina Sposito draws interest for its cleanliness. The gastronomy is located between several grocery stores, opposite the Recoleta cemetery, the most famous historical cemetery in Argentina. La Recoleta is one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and its surrounding gardens are a popular meeting point among the citizens of the capital.

Architect duo redesigned the shop's facade using only a simple wire mesh, which generates an elegant and modern pattern. Only a small window connects the kitchen with the outside, as the door is hidden in the front. When the window closes, the facade appears completely silent and uniform in the cladding.
