Architecture according to Steven Holl

The first interview in the series originating from the partnership between Domus and Porto Academy addresses the creative process guiding architecture.

In this interview, Steven Holl discusses the conceptual and practical tools from which his architecture originates. In his narration, books and references, as well as biographical anecdotes, frame the imaginary that participates in the process giving shape to his buildings. Since 2013, the summer school Porto Academy fuels the passion for architecture through an experience open to architects and students from all over the world. The 2018 edition took place from the 20th until the 27th of July, and makes no exception.
