Five Masters for Domus

In a video, David Chipperfield, Kenneth Frampton, Hans Kollhoff, Werner Oechslin and Eduardo Souto de Moura explain how the new Domus of Nicola Di Battista will be.

“The human city” is the subtitle – and interpretation – chosen for the new Domus of Nicola Di Battista, who, with the issue on newsstands from 10 September, succeeds Joseph Grima as the editor of the magazine.

A passion for the profession and ethics are therefore values that provide a point of reference for the magazine, along with environmental awareness, the validity of projects and the continuity of research – with particular attention to technological and productive applications that optimise design’s response to human needs. Thus Domus sets out to cultivate and embrace a fruitful constellation of collective legacies. To this end, Di Battista has enlisted a College of Masters that includes some of the most important and recognised protagonists of contemporary architecture: David Chipperfield, Kenneth Frampton, Hans Kollhoff, Werner Oechslin and Eduardo Souto de Moura explain in a video how the new Domus will work.
