The new development is essentially made up of two distinct volumes: one, completed in August 2009, a logistics base and services spread on three levels and a second prismatic building approximately 34 metres high, situated on the south of the site that houses the Nerocubo hotel, the most visible element within the landscape.

The buildings, situated in the narrow space between the road and the railway, have abstract elevations that refuse to be measured perceptively. Conditions do not exist for a static and accurate view of the complex that appears as a composition of built entities studied to be perceived in a dynamic fashion, "out of the corner of one's eye".

The volume of the hotel is made attractive and mysterious by the deformation of the facades and the seemingly random fenestration. The commercial building in line seems dramatically deformed by the powerful lines of force that cut through the landscape longitudinally.

Like the large objects that punctuate the Adige valley, the volumes accompany without opposition these potent fluxes of energy. The elevation towards the motorway is folded and opens to form a large protected portico, a welcoming area for socialising away from the road.
