Jørn Utzon at Louisiana

On the border between sky and sea, the Sydney Opera House is the transformation of a dream into reality. Created by Jørn Utzon, this monumental composition represents the culmination of a career consisting of projects that are very different but share an intense relationship with the natural landscape.

This exhibition at the Louisiana Museum in Humlebæk looks at Utzon’s work for the first time and analyzes it as a whole. Above all it reveals lesser-known works (such as his proposal, never built, for the Silkenborg Art Museum), which are examined right down to the last detail, including the design of the furniture.
