Trieste, new project by Mario Botta for Evergreen

Mario Botta was appointed at the end of December to design the new offices for Evergreen – one of the biggest shipping companies worldwide and responsible for moving 65% of the container traffic in the port of Trieste – the presentation is to be at the end of January. The go ahead has already been given by the port authorities and the council for the renovation and rebuilding of three warehouses between the Molo Quarto and Varco monumentale in the Porto Vecchio area although it is not excluded that the Swiss architect will make other proposals.
