New Ovo seating, originally designed by Paulo Mendes Da Rocha

The furniture conceived for the SESC 24 de Maio cultural centre in São Paulo, designed by the Brazilian architect with MMBB, becomes a multifunctional collection for indoor and outdoor use.

Brazilian furniture brand Ovo is launching a collection of seating originally designed by Paulo Mendes Da Rocha for the SESC 24 de Maio cultural and leisure centre. The 2017 building, located in São Paulo, Brazil, was designed by the Brazilian architect in collaboration with architecture and urbanism firm MMBB, led by Marta Moreira and Milton Braga.

The 14-storey community building was designed with seats made of folded metal sheets: based on the same concept, Ovo presents the Linha22 series for indoor and outdoor use, consisting of a dining chair, a high and low armchair, a bench and a small table.

Multifunctional, light and available in different colours, the collection for public spaces was created by Ovo founders Luciana Martins and Gerson de Oliveira and is part of the brand’s Ovo Public series.
