Alongside the new Moto Buds Bass earphones and the Moto G57 Power smartphone — equipped with a battery that can last up to two days — Motorola has unveiled its first ultra-thin smartphone. The Motorola Edge 70 is currently the thinnest smartphone in its category. Despite being only 5.99 mm thick and weighing just 159 grams, it packs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage. Scratch- and drop-resistant according to the military-grade standards Motorola has long adopted, the device features a back inspired by nylon textures and built from the same aerospace-grade aluminum used in aviation, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. It also boasts IP69 certification for resistance to water and dust.

It sports a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. For those who love capturing every moment, the camera system includes a main sensor capable of shooting 4K video, a second ultra-wide sensor with macro support, and a third front-facing sensor for selfies and group shots — all 50 megapixels. Thanks to Pantone-validated color calibration, photos reproduce lifelike colors and skin tones. The Moto AI features, powered by artificial intelligence and Motorola’s photo enhancement engine, further optimize images for greater precision and accuracy.

The Motorola Edge 70 is currently the thinnest smartphone in its category.

In terms of battery life, the 4,800 mAh battery allows for up to 50 hours of mixed use and 29 hours of video playback. To ensure a secure user experience, Motorola promises four Android OS updates (including Android 16) and bimonthly security updates until July 2031.

According to Motorola, the Edge 70 is available in Italy in the Pantone colors Lily Pad, Bronze Green, and Gadget Grey for €799. The package also includes a stylish magnetic case with wireless charging support.
