Commissioned by Bangalore-based Prestige Group, OMA’s Prestige Liberty Towers are located in the heart of the historic textile mills area of Mumbai, the Mahalaxmi district, formerly known as Girangon, the “Village of Mills”. Once crucial to the economy of Mumbai – which today is the engine of India economic’s growth – the area is now rapidly transforming into an international financial district.

The towers are designed to increase decentralized work, providing flexible working areas. The column-free floors can be in fact subdivided to enable a variety of working styles and office layouts. The high ceilings and the full-height windows allow more natural light to get in than the average office buildings. A garden roof terrace, a restaurant and shopping area will provide space for connection and relax to workers and locals. The two Prestige Liberty Towers will rise 656 and 950 feet. Indian black basalt and glass will differentiate the towers from the urban surroundings.
