Edoardo Tresoldi’s suspended structure for Marcelo Burlon

The young artist brings to the catwalk an exploded neoclassical architecture made of wire mesh that seems to float in the space of Palazzo delle Scintille in Milan.

The Milan Fashion Week S/S 2019 was an opportunity to enjoy the collaboration between the fashion designer Marcelo Burlon and Edoardo Tresoldi. The Italian artist and sculptor proposed an installation suspended inside Palazzo delle Scintille, in a 4,000 square meters and 30 meters-high hall. The historic building of Milan’s City Life district hosted the streetwear collection of the Argentinean designer combined with the ethereal structure of the young artist.

Edoardo Tresoldi’s work is an exploded neoclassical structure made of wire mesh – Tresoldi’s distinctive trademark – that strikes for its lightness and its apparent dissolving in the space, where it seems to float. The models have walked under the arches of the installation, distributed in the setting in a play of transparencies.
