Bob Krieger, one of the most affirmed Italian portrait painters, died suddenly at the age of 84 while on vacation in Santo Domingo, forced to postpone his return to his homeland due to transport restrictions for coronavirus.

Strongly linked to the world of fashion, he had collaborated for years with newspapers such as The New York Times and Vogue. His latest exhibition, Bob Krieger imagine. Living through fashion and music. ’60 ’70 ’80 ’90, had been hosted last spring at Palazzo Morando in Milan, a collection of his private shots, including advertising campaigns of the great Italian brands.
