Despite its “picturesque northern fairy tale” setting, the town of Bruges it’s going to examine itself, adopting socio-economic parameters and placing itself in relation to the current international reality.

It will do it in 2021 thanks to the Triennal of Art and Architecture, on its third edition. The theme is “TraumA”, referring to the previous editions, talking about metropolis and liquid society. The invited international artists and architects will go below the surface of the majestic facades and the medieval aesthetic, adopting new points of view on the city and its hidden sides. An edition that will be suspended between dream and trauma, fact and hypothesis, analysis and hallucination. A polyphonic and interdisciplinary choir, in which the city and its spaces are observed in all their beauty and complexity.
