Esiete: graphic tapas

The graphic design studio Esiete designed the logo and corporate identity for the Hotel Tapa Tour in Madrid using toothpicks and paper food to communicate the event.

Hotel Tapa Tour is an affordable and fun way to learn about gastronomy in hotels: an author tapas tournée with marriage of wines and cavas with certificate of origin.

An initiative that breaks the barrier between luxury hotels and the people of the city that has started this week in Madrid,
until June 25th, after its successful edition in Barcelona.

Esiete, design and content studio based in Barcelona responsible for the visual image and campaign, associated the popular toothpick to the traditional signaling system of hotel – the “H” – to generate a powerful logo, that is easily recognizable and timeless. The 360º communication campaign plays with the precision of haute cuisine in a play with the precise cut that shows the culinary sophistication of the author’s tapas.

  Beside its bet on excellence and quality, Hotel Tapa Tour stands out in other fields, as its logo has been nominated for the Laus Awards, the most prestigious design prize in Spain. The ceremony of the Laus Awards 2017 will take place on June 30th, coinciding with the inauguration of the exhibition “The best in design 2017”.
