A sofa-bed, tables and chairs for outdoor use are the latest additions to the product range for the “factory network” coordinated by Giulio Iacchetti. #MDW2017

The brand established by Giulio Iacchetti in 2012, continues its work as a “fabbrica diffusa” (factory network) with “furnishings inspired by Italian living” made by a network of artisan workshops and high-end manufacturers from all over Italy.

This year sees the presentation of their first soft furnishing, the Meda sofa-bed designed by Iacchetti and produced by BertO. It is a two-seater sofa that can be used to create different spaces and games for children by moving the cushions around, as well as transforming into a comfortable bed. “A sofa to serve not a sofa to be served”, is the central idea devised by Giulio Iacchetti who in this design placed the emphasis on comfort, practicality, innovation and beauty.

Another new product is the Gioi outdoor table in terracotta designed by Mario Scairato and  produced by Gusmano Manetti & figli. Made completely from terracotta, Gioi consists of just two elements: the top and the central leg and a simple method for assembling them: the top is fitted into the end of the leg and its own weight keeps it stable. Finally two decorative objects for the home: a diffuser for essential oils in ceramic and a terracotta vase holder.
