CIAA is a Rio de Janeiro based studio that renovated an apartment in Niterói in order to give it a young and dynamic character, through a functional readaptation and distribution of spaces, keeping the infrastructures, equipment and storage into a functional shelf.

Rio-based CIAA design studio renovated an apartment in Niterói, Brazil, creating a custom-made storage wall that gives the space a young and dynamic character.

The intervention consists of the insertion of a large linear equipment that can completely transform the transition between the spaces, with color panels and moving furniture allowing the integration of all spaces. In addition, the multifunctional shelf works also as the infrastructure to the extent that serves as support for technical installations – electrical, data, illumination, and hydraulic.
