The central joint draws inspiration from fishing rod holders and allows to split the lamp into two separated elements: the tubular element paired with the dome slides and rotates while the base stays steady and firm. The dome containing the light source, presents some sort of a crest with the switch just next to it, allowing for an intuitive and straight forward interaction.
A simplification play on the archetype of the desk lamp, resulting in a curious object, suitable for both the home and public space.

Stage is a directable floor lamp that formally expresses the natural gesture of pointing the light where needed.
The dome containing the light source, evolves from a very rational conic shape smoothly into a practical handle on the top, which can be used to direct the light beam, almost like in professional photography lights.
In its whole, the lamp features a big head opposed to a very slim body, slightly and nicely disproportionated.
