Errazuriz + Melissa

Melissa Shoes and Sebastian Errazuriz unveil a new collection inspired by 12 Shoes for 12 Lovers, creating a world where broken hearts fuel a collection of plastic shoes.

Brazilian plastic footwear brand, Melissa Shoes, is set to unveil a special collaboration with designer Sebastian Errazuriz.

The creation of these structured shoes was inspired by the response to the Twelve Shoes for Twelve Lovers installation by Errazuriz showcased at Melissa’s own pop-up shop during Miami Art Basel 2013.

The exhibition at the Melissa Pop-Up shop was a huge success and Melissa decided to produce a special and limited edition of two of the twelve shoe-sculptures: Goldigger (resembling a Golden human form as the heel of the shoe) and The Boss (resembling brass knuckles).

The shoes will be available at Melissa’s ‘Galerias’ around the world: New York, Sao Paulo and London.
