Wallpapering

Will be unveiled at the Milan Design Week the new decorative sound absorbing tiles designed by Dear Human, made of 100% post-consumer paper.

Wallpapering, by Dear Human, began as a material exploration after witnessing the amount of paper waste from local industries.

Upon a series of experiments, paper tiles evolved as a product made of 100% post-consumer paper. The tiles are as hard as board, light as cork, and can be printed or painted like paper. Other than their decorative potential, they have great sound absorbing qualities and are easy to install.

Tiles are available in a gradation from natural to bleached paper colours with endless printing options. Wallpapering changes as you add onto them – they can be an effective wall accent with just a few tiles or an impacting sound-absorbent treatment across an entire wall.

This spring at Ventura Lambrate in Milan and Wanted Design in New York City, Wallpapering will be presented with its latest developments, a quick connecting wall and ceiling installation system and a new free-hanging format for room dividing.
