Francisco Mangado

“Francisco Mangado. Arquitecto”, at La Galerie d’Architecture in Paris is a retrospective of the work of the Navarrese architect through models of buildings and competition projects.

The Galerie d’Architecture in Paris is the new venue of “Francisco Mangado. Arquitecto”, a traveling exhibition that through models of building and competition projects presents a large part of Mangado’s architectural and design output in recent years.

A documentary guides us through the architect’s major built works while he charms us with some of his deepest-held reflections and viewpoints, captured in conversations that are interspersed with interviews with mentors and friends of his: Rafael Moneo, Álvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura, and Juan Herreros.

First opening at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid in February 2011, the exhibition traveled on to the Aedes Gallery in Berlin, the EPFL in Lausanne, and the FAUP in Porto.
