Benini: Living Art

The world greatest habitable artwork, designed by Dante O. Benini in collaboration with Mario Arlati in Moscow, is a synthesis of architecture, art and technology.

In 2011 architect Dante Benini won a competition on creation of unique architectural shape for the housing estate, organized by the Moscow developer Krost Concern. This project had to become the new stage in the history of town planning of Russia and the symbol dedicated to the Olympic Games of 2014.

The philosophy of the project was not only to create convenient urban environment. In the Art project the subject of revival of atmosphere of “old yards”, promotion of sports activities, magnificent European motives of gardens and parks and difficult design solutions can be found as well.

Architectural bureau Dante O. Benini together with artist Mario Arlati thought up to present buildings in the form of abstract paintings. Dante Benini relied on power of art in close connection with architecture.

The architectural complex Art, on which facades the flame of Olympic flame was reflected, will be included into the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest picture in the world and into the list of the most outstanding objects in the world.
