At Milan Design Week 2025, the Belgian brand Tribù unveils Nagomi, a new outdoor collection by designers Inoda+Sveye. “Nagomi represents a sanctuary, a place of calm and balance,” the designers explain. “It is a collection that reflects our vision of design as a human and natural practice. Each piece is created to fit the body, caress the senses, and respect the planet.”
With an ultralight die-cast aluminum frame and hand-woven details in Canax® – a patented hemp-based fiber – Nagomi aims to express a harmonious balance between form and function, inspired by nature.
Inoda+Sveye’s design philosophy is evident in their choice of soft, flowing lines, avoiding rigid geometries in favor of a design that organically conforms to the human body. “The goal is not to surprise,” Nils Sveye tells Domus, “but rather to pamper.” Indeed, every piece in the collection is designed to offer ergonomic comfort, combined with tactile richness and technological innovation, such as the armchair, which was conceived “as if it were a 1950s wooden piece, but produced in a contemporary context.”
Canax®, the core material in Nagomi’s woven structure, represents a material evolution that combines the natural qualities of hemp with high resistance to the elements. The aluminum frame is coated with an ultra-durable powder finish that extends its lifespan and reduces its environmental impact. The use of hemp, a renewable and low-impact plant fiber, reflects the designers’ commitment to combining aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility.
